A Lear Death Experience poster at Montgomery

The Spiel

King Lear reckons it’s time to retire but who will inherit his kingdom? When you’ve got three daughters, how do you decide who gets the best bits? Unfortunately, ‘power to flattery bows’, and a storm is unleashed when he disinherits his youngest daughter, Cordelia, and places himself in the wicked hands of her sisters, Goneril and Regan. Who are the traitors and who are the faithful? He might just need Claudia Wrinkly-bum to sort this one. A Lear Death Experience is Shakespeare but not as you would know it.
