A Singer-Songwriter, Griffin grew up listening to a variety of musicians and genres that have played an influential role in shaping his signature sound. Among others, influences such as James Taylor, Bonnie Rait, Jim Croce, Marty Robbins, Gordon Lightfoot, Simon & Garfunkel, Beatles and many other notable musicians have set foot on his ears and heart. Griffin weaves the old with the new, while combining ancient folk tunes with world music, putting in a little bit of his own beak and paws. "Griffin's music is like a modern tribal campfire, where intimate storytelling meets cinematic folk, inviting audiences to wander, wonder, and sing along." - NLC ​ Inspired by folklore, nature, mysticism and the open road, Griffin blends contemporary indie folk with echoes of ancient traditions.
