An Evening with Sniff 'n' the Tears Acoustic at Cafe No9
The Spiel
Sniff 'n' the Tears Acoustic is the duo project of Sniff 'n' the Tears frontman, singer and songwriter Paul Roberts and original guitarist Les Davidson. Their intimate acoustic performances span the band's catalogue—from the worldwide 1979 hit Driver's Seat to tracks from their acclaimed acoustic album Jump (2020). Roberts' poetic songwriting explores love, everyday life and the changing world, brought to life by Davidson's expressive and intricate guitar work. Reflecting on the project, Roberts says: "It's a great way to explore the songs in the tradition of the troubadours—spontaneous, from the heart, and with less concern for the arrangement." Since launching the project in 2018, Sniff 'n' the Tears Acoustic have performed across the UK and Europe, with highlights including an appearance on the Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury Festival in 2023 and performances throughout the Netherlands, delivering an intimate live experience that puts the songs and their storytelling centre stage. http://www.sniffnthetears.com ********************************************************************************** Please note this ticket price DOES include a BYOB fee should you wish to bring alcohol to the venue.
