Sniff 'n' the Tears Acoustic is the duo project of Sniff 'n' the Tears frontman, singer and songwriter Paul Roberts and original guitarist Les Davidson. Their intimate acoustic performances span the band's catalogue—from the worldwide 1979 hit Driver's Seat to tracks from their acclaimed acoustic album Jump (2020). Roberts' poetic songwriting explores love, everyday life and the changing world, brought to life by Davidson's expressive and intricate guitar work. Reflecting on the project, Roberts says: "It's a great way to explore the songs in the tradition of the troubadours—spontaneous, from the heart, and with less concern for the arrangement."
