Billy Daniel Bunter Up Norf poster at Network Sheffield

The Spiel

Billy Daniel Bunter lands at Network Sheffield for a full four-hour journey through the roots of rave. This is the first time this concept has left London and Sheffield felt like the 1st place to do it. A city that gave us LFO, Warp Records, and the pioneering bleeps and bass sound. Hour one starts right at the beginning. 88, 89, summer of love vibes. Proper house music, the birth of something that changed all our lives forever. From there it moves into the northern sound. Bleeps, bass, early European influences and the rise of UK rave. The third hour is the Big, hands in the air anthems, the records people have lived their lives to. And the final hour goes deep into 92 / 93 / 94 Breakbeat, piano hardcore, that unstoppable energy that took over the UK and defined a generation. Four hours. No fillers. Full of the vibes and passions that never left us.
