Join us for a very special gig where we will be playing songs from our upcoming as yet untitled new album. We have been busy working away on a follow up to 2025's 'The Moments In Between' with an expected release for early 2027. Some of these new songs have made there way into our live set already, but we will be playing the album tracks live their entirety at this special gig. We'll also be playing a set of old tunes and fan favourites. Definately one not to be missed! Buffalo Ghost - Americana with Heart and Soul Formed in 2022 by songwriter Joe Armitage, Buffalo Ghost blends Americana storytelling with a diverse musical range, from mellow acoustic ballads to high-energy rock anthems. Based in Sheffield, the band has quickly built a loyal following with their powerful live performances and authentic sound. At the core of the band's identity is Joe Armitage, whose emotive vocals and captivating guitar work bring his heartfelt songwriting to life. Whether exploring intimate, reflective moments or gritty rock-driven anthems, Joe's lyrics resonate with depth and honesty, weaving stories that evoke a sense of place and raw emotion. The band's line up brings together a group of seasoned musicians, each with their own musical pedigree. Mark Lyall, a respected figure in Sheffield's music scene, adds fiery lead guitar work that electrifies their sound. His intricate playing and sharp solos bring an added layer of energy to Buffalo Ghost's performances. The rhythm section—Jules Woodman (bass) and Smack (drums)—locks in with solid grooves that provide a backbone for the band's diverse range of songs. Rounding out the line up is Pete Thompson on keys, whose soulful arrangements add depth and texture to the group's Americana-driven sound. Buffalo Ghost's ability to move seamlessly between mellow, introspective tunes and full-blown rockers has made them a standout on the live circuit. John and the band play a mix of Americana, blues and country. Regular Buffalo Ghost fans may have seen him play alongside our smack with the Emilia Quinn band, as well as his own legendary 'human jukebox' cover shows. With a fine voice and outstanding guitar playing, and a super tight rythym section, we can't wait to have them open up for us.
