Radio 4's Stand-Up Specials, Live from the UK comes to Sheffield! The BBC brings you the funniest stand-up stars with cracking live shows from a host of new and established comics. Hosted by Chris Cantrill ,Winner of the BBC Audio Drama Award 2026 for best comedy performance for Radio 4’s “Icklewick FM”and half of the massively successful comedy duo “The Delightful Sausage” and a writer on SNL: UK, Stand-Up Specials will include the following comedians...Nina Gilligan - Multi award winning stand-up and part of the award winning “Where To, Mate?”, Nina’s debut Radio 4 Stand-Up Special “Nina Gilligan: Goldfish” was broadcast in May 2026.David Eagle - Part of the three-time BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winning band The Young’uns, David won the Spirit Of The Fringe Award at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2024, and has his own Radio 4 stand-up series “David Eagle: See No Eagle”.Emer Maguire - Double Irish IMRO award winner, Emer has appeared on Radio 4’s “Live From The UK” and the musical Stand-Up Special “Emer Maguire: Patron Saint of Bad Luck”.Lindsey Santoro - Multi-award winner Lindsey has appeared on “Live From The UK” and her Radio 4 series “The Lively Life of Lindsey Santoro”.Ayo Adenekan - Finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards 2025 and winner of Best Newcomer at The (ISH) Edinburgh Comedy Awards, Ayo has appeared on “Live From The UK” and is a writer for SNL: UK.Dan Tiernan - Winner of BBC New Comedy Awards and British Comedian of the Year 2022, Dan is part of “A Comedy Thing” for Channel 4. His Edinburgh debut “Going Under” was adapted for Radio 4’s Stand-Up Specials. Aurie Styla - One of Just For Laugh’s New Faces Of Comedy, Award-winning Aurie has performed around the world, and has presented two series of his tech-based stand-up “Tech Talk” for Radio 4.Kyrah Gray - Star of Radio 4’s “Rum Punch”, Kyrah has appeared on “Live From the UK”, and has been tour support for some of the biggest names in British comedy.
