Crossed Wires Presents the Invention Of
The Spiel
Misha Glenny investigates the borders, the histories and the people that make different nations what they are. Twenty years ago Misha Glenny and Miles Warde flew to Switzerland to see a castle, the beginning of a radio odyssey that has now drawn them to dozens of countries worldwide, including China, Turkey, Poland, Brazil and Taiwan. Where did these countries come from, are their borders always the same, and what local delicacy are the team eating tonight? It's been a winning recipe so far. Important note from Crossed Wires Festival: As tickets are free, people often request more than they need, so we have to issue more tickets than there are seats available to allow for this. Entry into the show is on a first come, first served basis, and is not guaranteed even with a reservation. Please arrive in good time.
