English Touring Opera: Orpheus and Eurydice
The Spiel
Running time: around 2 hours and 50 minutes (including an interval) Orpheus cannot accept that Eurydice is gone. Rather than face his grief, he sets out to defy the course of fate. When the Gods offer him a glimmer of hope, he ventures into the Underworld. But what begins as a journey to bring her back becomes a descent into the architecture of his own mind.
