Laura Wade in Conversation

Join Olivier award-winning playwright Laura Wade(Rivals, Posh, Home, I’m Darling), one of Sheffield’s most celebrated creative voices, for an in conversation event celebrating her career. This free event marks the publication of The Theatre of Laura Wade, the first book-length exploration of her work, by Dr Sophie Bush (Sheffield Hallam University) and Dr Henry Bell (University of the West of Scotland). Wade and the authors will be joined by Sheffield Theatres Artistic Director Elizabeth Newman for a homecoming chat that draws out key themes from the book, such as Wade’s important collaborations with other women creatives.
