The Spiel
Fresh from a run of SOLD-OUT headline shows, LPMC returns to his spiritual home at Yellow Arch Studios on Saturday 14th November for his biggest headline event to date and only headline show this year - featuring not one, but TWO unforgettable performances. Armed with only an acoustic guitar and piano, LPMC will open the day with a captivating, stripped-back matinee set - intimate, raw, and deeply personal. Later that evening, he returns with his full five-piece band, unleashing a high-energy, anthemic blast of alternative rock built to ignite any crowd. LPMC is the creative force of Lee McMahon, former frontman and songwriter of South Yorkshire favourites The Tivoli. Since launching his solo project in 2022 with his acclaimed debut Providence - featuring terrace anthem Good Times Are Coming, the explosive Amsterdam Sam, and the timeless Main Street - McMahon's resurrection has cemented his reputation as one of the region’s standout songwriters. Praised by music press and radio alike as “masterful,” his work is celebrated for bold lyrical imagery, powerhouse vocals, and irresistible melodic hooks. BBC Introducing has championed him from the very beginning. The show will be a platform to showcase his upcoming and highly anticipated second album, Lonely Boy Bar, is being released as a trilogy of EPs. Part 2 is arriving soon in the wake of Part 1, which delivered unforgettable tracks such as the guitar-laden, sax-punching opener Lonely Boy, the thumping juggernaut of Murphy, the rock-jazz pulse of Joe, and the truly beautiful epic Mary. Rooted in working-class heritage, his songwriting draws on stories of hometown heroes and the enduring spirit of the underdog; McMahon’s writing now carries a sharper, more seasoned edge, with urban hymns that hit harder, shine brighter, and resonate deeper than ever before - capturing themes of struggle, resilience, and the belief that you can change your own destiny. Expect passion. Expect power. Expect a performance you’ll still be talking about long after the lights go down. With extremely limited tickets available for both shows - sold separately or at a discounted combined price - this is a rare chance to experience LPMC at both his most intimate and most explosive. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 3rd July. Don’t miss it. Each combined ticket (Acoustic Matinee and Evening Full Band Performances Ticket) receives a free limited edition, signed, yellow coloured vinyl of LPMC's ‘Lonely Boy Bar - Part 1’ Matinee show - all ages Evening full band show - 16+
