Sidney & Matilda x Float Along Presents: Mercy Girl Mercy Girl is sensory euphoria and contemplation. Formed in 2024 by members Daisy Miles, Davey Purdie, Craig Harknessand Kylie MacNaughton, the Glasgow based electronic outfit explorethemes of love, despair and the uncertainty of the human experience. Taking inspiration from EBM, Darkwave and Electro-Pop, Mercy Girlinvokes both the solace of a dark empty highway, and the surrender of aneon-hazed dancefloor. Since launching in November 2024, the band have amassed a globalaudience and a cult online following. Having their music regularly playedat, and being used to promote dark scene club nights everywhere fromLos Angeles to Berlin. The band sold out their debut headline show in The Hug and Pint inGlasgow and have shared the stage with Justin Warfield (She WantsRevenge) at a sold out Oslo in Hackney, London.
