The Spiel
MELTWATER is an immersive performance exploring one of the defining environmental challenges of our time. Developed through Manasamitra's international 'Terrarium' project, it draws on personal stories gathered from communities in the UK, India, Indonesia and Portugal alongside the extraordinary sounds of melting ice itself: drips, cracks, streams and shifting glaciers. Combining live performance, electronics and environmental sound, MELTWATER is a powerful and thought-provoking musical experience that reflects on climate change through sound, memory and human experience.
