Steen has switched off his phone, put it in a shoebox and buried it in his mum's back garden. A whole month since BB last logged on, Steen fears the worst. With no phone and only £7.20 in his young savers account, Steen embarks on a coast-to-coast search for the girl he's only known as an online avatar. Shaped by conversations with young people across the UK, Touch Grass is the trip of a lifetime, travelling through friendship, the online forces that shape young men, and the clash between the virtual world of gaming and real life.
