The Sheffield Beatles Project

The Spiel

Roll up, roll up! That’s an invitation… to make a reservation… The Magical Mystery Tour is waiting to take you away! This December the Sheffield Beatles Project will be returning to the Octagon Centre to celebrate ten years of making music together. Through the last decade their annual Christmas gigs have become a local institution, and though some things have changed, their mission to faithfully recreate entire albums by The Beatles has always remained the same. Every song, every harmony and every tiny musical detail will be brought to life by this 30-piece band of our city’s finest musicians. Far more than just a tribute band, the Sheffield Beatles Project leave the wigs, costumes and dodgy accents at home so they can focus on the most important thing: the music! If you can hear something on the record, you’ll hear it in their show. The complete Magical Mystery Tour album includes some incredible Beatles hits – Hello Goodbye, All You Need Is Love, Strawberry Fields Forever and I Am The Walrus will all be there. However, the Sheffield Beatles Project never skip a track and they’re just as exited to be performing songs like Your Mother Should Know and The Fool On The Hill. For the other half of the show the band will be choosing a wide selection of the Beatles favourites and rarities they’ve loved performing for you over the last ten years. There are two performances: Saturday night is mostly standing with a small number of seats, and Sunday afternoon is fully seated. Please note that if you wish to have a seat at the Saturday performance you must buy a seated ticket. Seats at both shows are unreserved. Both performances also have an accessible platform, please contact the venue for more details. Doors: Saturday, 7pm. Sunday, 3pm. Dates: Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December, 2026 Times: Saturday, 8pm. Sunday, 4pm Cost: £28 standard, £18 under 14’s
