Will Young has spent over two decades at the forefront of British pop since winning the inaugural series of Pop Idol in 2002. His debut single Anything Is Possible / Evergreen sold over 1.7 million copies, making it the second best-selling single of the 21st century in the UK to date and one of the Top 20 best-selling singles of all time. His career has since included four #1 and two #2 chart-topping albums, two BRIT Awards, and hits such as Leave Right Now, Jealousy and Evergreen. His most recent album Light It Up debuted Top 5 in the UK charts in 2024, followed by a sold-out UK acoustic tour. Alongside music, Will has built a successful career in acting and presenting, including stage and screen roles, and regular slots on Magic and BBC Radio 2. He was nominated for an Olivier Award for Cabaret and continues to balance creative projects across entertainment and broadcasting.
